Yesterday I went down to London again! I love trips to London as they're always packed full of things for me to do. Firstly I met up with one of my best friends from when I was at University Rachel (you should all go check her out cause she's a babe!) and we caught up and headed off to the River Island High Summer Press Day! We were in for a treat because everything in River Island at the moment is so pretty!
There was so much colour at the press day so of the prints of this seasons collection were amazing! There's so many gorgeous items which will help kit any girl out with their summer wardrobe! Kimonos were everywhere and there was lots of embellishment too!

There was plenty of neon items to be seen and lots of turquoise blue items too! I wish I was seeing lots of sunshine this summer so I would have a valid excuse to buy it all! We then had some yummy pimms to get us in the summery mood!
I had to take a photo of these suit & shirt combo's. I thought they were really cool and love how bright colours is a trend for menswear this summer!

The accessories at the press day were amazing! I think everyone fell in love with the fluffy heels! Me and Rachel then went to meet my cousin and we went to a party for new shopping platform Grabble! I love the whole concept of Grabble because I'm always making wishlists of items online which I want! It was such an amazing event and so many bloggers were there and it was so lovely to catch up with them! We also were treated to a special acoustic set from Andy Jordan from Made in Chelsea!
He was so good live I was quite surprised! He was really nice and friendly when I spoke to him too. He told me he loved my shoes and I turned to jelly and replied with they are from 'the internet' I was like what is my life?!
Here's the photo evidence with Andy Jordan! Moments after the shoe incident haha! In the photo I'm with my cousin and my friend Rachel. During my trip I was also giving my new gadget from Futurocks(*) out! I was lucky enough to be sent this about a week ago and started using it last night! It works so simply you just charge it up via your computer and when the red light goes off it's fully charged and you can keep it in your handbag for on the go as it's so small! It's only £10 too and it recharged my phone to 100% while I was in London yesterday!

What did you get up to Yesterday?

One thing I love doing each week is putting together a high-street wishlist post! If you haven't seen these posts before you can check out previous posts here! I am a high-street addict and I'm constantly online looking at what's new on the high-street each week! Here's what I'm loving this week.
Black Ditsy Floral Top - River Island
Pink 90's Square Crop Top - Miss Selfridge
Woven Joggers - Topshop
Gingham Crop Top - Miss Selfridge
Nude Bag - Ebay
Double Strap Sandals - Topshop
Tropical All In One - Topshop
Pink Jumpsuit - In Love With Fashion

One thing I'm loving at the moment is the 90's style crop tops. I think they are such good versatile tops to add to your wardrobe this summer! You just have to check out all the amazing crop tops Miss Selfridge have in! They're super cheap too and I'll definitely be stocking up on a few more of these crop tops before going away this summer! Another favourite of mine is printed trousers and they're a style essential for this summer. I love how you can team printed trousers with plain tees, leather jackets or with a blouse for a more smart-casual look. I recently bought these amazing sandals from Topshop and they've not left my feet ever since! They also come in white and silver too!

What do you think of this weeks wishlist? Whats your favourite item?

I thought I'd do something different for today's post. I spent this weekend in Manchester and I absolutely loved it. Thanks to Boohoo and their latest campaign #experienceeverything I was lucky enough to receive 2 tickets to go and see Katy Perry! So me and one of my best friends decided to make a girly weekend out of it!

After reuniting me and my friend Myfi checked in at our hotel. We then decided to wander around the shops (as typical girls do) before heading to the most amazing bar for dinner. We went to a place called Font Bar which was a little further out of central Manchester but they did £2 cocktails (yes £2!) and the most yummy food. It was quite inexpensive and we both had really filling meals for under £10!
We then did a little bit more shopping (oops!) and I fell in love with these shoes from Ark Clothing! We then heading back to our hotel to get ready for Katy Perry! I decided to wear my favourite new top from Miss Selfridge with my white joni jeans!
I was then reunited when we got to Katy Perry with one of my blogger besties the gorgeous Em from Em Talks. I have so much love for this girl, she's such a babe and always a joy to see. I can't wait to be living about 20 minutes away from her once she's back from Canada! Then the show began and OH MY GOSH KATY PERRY WAS AMAZING!
She sang so many great songs such as Roar, Firework, Part of Me and Birthday. I think my favourites were Birthday and Part of Me! I wasn't sure what Katy Perry would be like live but she was amazing! She's a super talented lady and last night proves she can look good in ANY outfit or hair colour!
I had the most amazing time at Katy Perry! I don't really get the chance to go to gigs and it was amazing! I loved being able to bring along one of my best friends too who's a big Katy Perry fan! We sang and danced the night away and I'm got a bit of a croaky voice today! After going clubbing we got up on Sunday morning craving food. Myfi has never been to Manchester before so I took her for breakfast at one of my favourite places Home Sweet Home!

We both had such an amazing weekend and sometimes it's just nice to have some quality girly time and enjoy doing something different. I will definitely be booking tickets to a gig in the near future with Myfi as we had the BEST time. I'm looking forward to next weekend as I have another gig to go to thanks to Boohoo! Thanks Boohoo for the Katy Perry tickets!

What do you think of Katy Perry? Do you like Manchester? Have you ever been?

Sunglasses - Matalan
Kimono - Boohoo (Similar Here and Here)
Bralet - Missguided
Jeans - Topshop
Sandals - Desire Clothing (Similar Here)

One thing I'm loving at the moment and that's kimonos. I actually got this kimono way back in October when I wore it to Vogue's fashion night out. I absolutely loved it then and I still love it now. Especially now it's sunny! This exact kimono is out of stock but I have found similar ones here and here. I think kimonos are a great way to change an outfit and they are so versatile too.

Kimono - Boohoo (Similar Here and Here)
Bralet - Missguided
Jeans - Topshop
Sandals - Desire Clothing (Similar Here)

I've paired this kimono with one of my favourite tops at the moment from Missguided which you've probably seen in a few blog post now. What's great about this top is that you can wear it during the day too especially when it's sunny! This top is only £10 and it comes in mint, pink, black and lots of other colours which you can check out here!

Jeans - Topshop
Sandals - Desire Clothing (Similar Here)

Pairing this outfit with jeans gives it a more casual day time look. If you didn't want to show off any flesh or if it just wasn't sunny enough I'd probably wear one of these tops from Miss Selfridge. I think the sandals give this outfit a real summery feel too!

What do you think of this outfit? Do you like kimonos?

I absolutely love putting together monochrome outfits. I think monochrome outfits can never look bad and you can wear them year after year and the outfit won't look bad. I think this sort of outfit is ideal this summer and for the beautiful british weather at the moment!

These faux Birkenstocks from Topshop are my new favourite thing. I can't wait to take them on my travels in just over a months time to New Zealand! I didn't think they would be as cheap as they are as they are such good quality. I really want the white pair aswell!

What do you think of when you hear the words ‘pencil skirt’? Marilyn Monroe smouldering in a tight-fitting one, teamed with an even more figure-hugging sweater? Rizzo from Grease showing Sandy that tight, not flared, is the way to go if you want to look cool? Or maybe Kelly Brook in her latest ‘flaunt those curves’ outfit?
Whatever springs to mind, the image that appears is always going to be a seriously sexy, glamorous and grown-up one. But before you think ‘OK, so not for me then,’ read on before you dismiss this fabulous feminine look.

Does My Bum Look Big In This?

Possibly, but that’s the whole point, silly! Pencil skirts were first created in the 1940s by Christian Dior, the iconic designer who knew how to design for women and their curves in an age when real women’s bodies were celebrated and admired, not ignored by high fashion designers only interested in teenage beanpole models. A pencil skirt is supposed to cling to all the right places, so as long as it doesn’t feel uncomfortable, you’re all set to get your wiggle on! Still in doubt? Bear in mind that the bootylicious owner of the world’s most famous bottom, Kim Kardashian is a big fan of the pencil skirt. Not only does this signature look show off her famous rear to fab effect, it also accentuates her womanly thighs. So go on, take a leaf out of Kim’s book and celebrate your curves!

Work It

Pencil skirts have always been part of the classic women’s formal skirt suit. So if you want to bring your skirt up to date wear it without the jacket for a fashion-forward, yet office appropriate look that’ll take you straight from your desk and out to dinner. Who said formal workwear has to be boring?

Nights out

Next time it’s date night, ditch the jeans in favour of a pencil skirt. It could be just the thing to put a little pizzazz back into your relationship! The good news is that this skirt shape is incredibly versatile, meaning you won’t need to break the bank buying new tops to match it. These Pencil Skirts from George come in a great range of denims, blacks and neutrals, meaning they’ll go with almost anything. And if it’s a really posh night out, why not treat yourself to a lovely lace one, to add an extra feminine touch to your new ladylike look? Light coloured and patterned ones are also an excellent choice for a wedding, christening or a day at the races.
Dressed Down

Pencil skirts make us picture red lipstick, heels and retro cardigans but if that feels a bit OTT to you, have a think about wearing them the modern way with a t-shirt or a plain grey sweatshirt and ankle boots. You’ll soon be the epitome of effortless ladylike cool.
So remember, next time you’re out and about, give this look a try. You’ll be surprised how flattering it is, especially as it usually has a nice high-waisted cut!

Okay, so I think I've got a new obsession and that's with co-ordinates. I've recently rediscovered my love for Ark Clothing and the Co-ords they have in at the moment are just out of this world AMAZING!
Dolphin Print Crop Top and Shorts - Ark Clothing
Black and White Co-ord - Ark Clothing
Pink Palm Print Co-ord - Ark Clothing
Cream matching Co-ord - Ark Clothing

I think co-ordinates are a great way to update your wardrobe for summer. I love the patterns of these co-ords and I think the white one is gorgeous too. You can wear them seperately for a day-time look or you can wear them together for a great night-time look. They'll be great on a holiday because they are pretty much 3 outfits in one!
Neon Print Co-ord - Ark Clothing
Lime Co-ord - Ark Clothing
Blue Palm Print Co-ord - Ark Clothing
Pink Gingham Co-ord - Ark Clothing

I'd wear a co-ord top with a pair of jeans, denim shorts, disco pants or a skater skirt for a simple but stylish day-time look. I think for a more casual look I would wear the co-ord bottoms with a simple baggy jumper or an oversized t-shirt!

How would you wear a two piece? Do you think they're a great summer staple?

Lot of you loved last week's post and so I couldn't wait to show you what's in store this week! I'm loving far too much on the high-street these past few weeks and here's just a few of the pieces on the high-street I'm loving!

90's Square Crop Top - Miss Selfridge
White Denim Leggings - Topshop
Rock N Rose Lydia Crown - ASOS
Double Strap Sandals - Topshop
Leather Strappy Sandals - Missguided

One thing I'm loving at the moment is the 90's style crop tops. You may have seen me style on in this post! I fell a little bit in love when I saw this River Island one when I saw it on Oxford Street a few days ago! I think denim leggings are a great alternative if you don't like jeans. These Topshop ones are a bargain! I am loving the ugly sandal trend at the moment and these Topshop ones are next on my wishlist!

What do you think about this wishlist? Which pieces are you loving?

One colour I'm loving at the moment is white. Lots of white. White can NEVER look bad! I think you can always wear all white items together and it'll look really cool. I recently got this white top and love how it looks with these trousers!

I teamed this top together with these trousers for a great summery combination. (This proves how much of a style staple they are!)
Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick in shade 30 - Boots
White 90's Square Crop Top - Miss Selfridge

This is the sort of outfit I'd wear on an evening out with the girls or for a nice meal! I would wear this outfit on a summery day too as it's cool, casual and comfortable. I think this looks fab and is a great summery look!
Monochrome Trousers - Missguided(*)

I'm absolutely LOVING these sandals at the moment. They are available on Missguided too. I am loving pastel nail polish at the moment and what's on my nails is Rose Hip by Barry M which is the perfect pastel shade for this summmer!
