Last week I headed down to Manchester to an event with Rare London which was chocolate making! We were spoilt with cocktails, made our own truffles, saw Rare's latest collection and I got the chance to meet and catch up with some lovely northern bloggers! I loved the evening and it was just so much fun to eat so much chocolate! Firstly after a few cocktails and a bit of catching up with fellow bloggers we learnt how to make our own chocolate buttons! I made a massive one and decorated it with strawberry and white chocolate swirls (It was so yummy!) We then went on to my favourite bit which was making truffles! It was so nice to be able to make truffles the way you wanted to aswell! I put praline, strawberry swirls and white chocolate on mine and they were so tasty! The photos don't really do the truffles justice to how yummy they were! I then looked around at Rare's new AW/14 Collection and there's so many gorgeous pieces! I really loved the 'lips' clutch. I think it'll be a great style staple over this coming season! It'll also make your outfit stand out too! I was pleasantly surprised by some of the pieces coming up next season for Rare. There was a gorgeous fringed bralet I really liked and the accessories were just so on point! And here's the aftermath of cocktail consuming, chocolate making and lots of marshmallow eating...
Thanks to Label PR and Rare for such an amazing event! I loved it! I'm currently just finishing off the last of my truffles (yum!) what do you think of Rare Fashion? Have you ever been chocolate making?
Last week I definitely got one of the best emails ever. That email came from Boohoo! As part of their new campaign they were inviting me to see One Direction VIP on the 31st May! I was beyond excited to be given the opportunity! So here's what I wore to the concert and what I got up to. Their was a lot of youtubers there so there's probably some embarassing footage of me dancing up online soon!
Anyway here's what I wore to the concert! Boohoo kindly sent me a few pieces to wear on the night which was amazing! I chose this kimono which I think will become a firm favourite in my wardrobe this summer! I love the pattern of it and how you can just throw a kimono over any plain top to update an outfit.
I decided to go for a more glamorous sort of look but still comfortable so my disco pants were a perfect choice! I'm wearing a simple Miss Selfridge crop top on top and my new white heels which I love from Boohoo too. I thought this was a fab outfit for the concert and I was far too excited getting ready on Saturday!
This necklace is a new favourite of mine! I got it while I was in London on Thursday when I was lucky enough to visit the PR team at Impulse Loves. I really like this necklace and it's such a statement piece to change an outfit!
I love these heels from Boohoo! White shoes are a bit of a summer staple this summer and can make any outfit stand out! Here's some photos of what I got up to on saturday evening!
When we arrived to the stadium we were taken to this amazing VIP box! We were given wine and drinks and chatted with the other bloggers and youtubers before our food arrived!
This was pretty much the only food photo I seemed to have got from the evening! It was the starter and the cheese was so yummy! I loved the salmon and having that with bread it was so nice! The concert began and we all headed outside of our box and danced the night away to One Direction! They were quite good live and I got far too excited when they played some of their popular songs like 'what makes you beautiful'!
I loved it when the confetti came out as it's so pretty! This was during them singing Kiss you!
If you follow me on Instagram or on Twitter you will have seen these photos already but here are some of the photos I posted on saturday night! I love the photo on the right with the gorgeous Chyaz!
Here's a blogger montage of the evening from left to right is Victoria from In The Frow, Hannah from Hannah Louise F, Gabriella from Velvet Gh0st and Rosie from Rosie Glow! You should go check them all out as they're all babes!
Thankyou so much to Boohoo for an amazing night at One Direction it was sooo good! What do you think of my outfit? Do you like One Direction?
I thought I'd do something different for today's post. I spent this weekend in Manchester and I absolutely loved it. Thanks to Boohoo and their latest campaign #experienceeverything I was lucky enough to receive 2 tickets to go and see Katy Perry! So me and one of my best friends decided to make a girly weekend out of it!
After reuniting me and my friend Myfi checked in at our hotel. We then decided to wander around the shops (as typical girls do) before heading to the most amazing bar for dinner. We went to a place called Font Bar which was a little further out of central Manchester but they did £2 cocktails (yes £2!) and the most yummy food. It was quite inexpensive and we both had really filling meals for under £10! We then did a little bit more shopping (oops!) and I fell in love with these shoes from Ark Clothing! We then heading back to our hotel to get ready for Katy Perry! I decided to wear my favourite new top from Miss Selfridge with my white joni jeans! I was then reunited when we got to Katy Perry with one of my blogger besties the gorgeous Em from Em Talks. I have so much love for this girl, she's such a babe and always a joy to see. I can't wait to be living about 20 minutes away from her once she's back from Canada! Then the show began and OH MY GOSH KATY PERRY WAS AMAZING! She sang so many great songs such as Roar, Firework, Part of Me and Birthday. I think my favourites were Birthday and Part of Me! I wasn't sure what Katy Perry would be like live but she was amazing! She's a super talented lady and last night proves she can look good in ANY outfit or hair colour! I had the most amazing time at Katy Perry! I don't really get the chance to go to gigs and it was amazing! I loved being able to bring along one of my best friends too who's a big Katy Perry fan! We sang and danced the night away and I'm got a bit of a croaky voice today! After going clubbing we got up on Sunday morning craving food. Myfi has never been to Manchester before so I took her for breakfast at one of my favourite places Home Sweet Home!
We both had such an amazing weekend and sometimes it's just nice to have some quality girly time and enjoy doing something different. I will definitely be booking tickets to a gig in the near future with Myfi as we had the BEST time. I'm looking forward to next weekend as I have another gig to go to thanks to Boohoo! Thanks Boohoo for the Katy Perry tickets!
What do you think of Katy Perry? Do you like Manchester? Have you ever been?
