It's a bit of a more recent thing but I'm becoming more and more obsessed with New Look. I'm never normally a New Look fan but I have seen so many gorgeous things in their lately! After popping along to the Autumn/Winter Press Day I knew New Look would become a firm favourite for the next season of where to get my latest fashion fix from!

Last time I went to New Look I picked up this gorgeous blue lace cami top which looked absolutely perfect for summer! I found it looks great with high-waisted trousers and jeans so I've paired it with my favourite white jeans from Topshop! One things for sure my obsession with these shoes is quite bad now! They are so comfortable and easy to wear and who doesn't love a bit of white during summertime?!

Another part of New Look which is always great is the Jewellery and Accessories. I think they always create such gorgeous pieces but they're always that teeny bit different in style to what other retailers produce!

What do you think of this outfit? Are you wearing white jeans a lot at the moment?

I shot this outfit at the weekend and I absolutely love it. I am thinking about wearing this or something similar to see Katy Perry this weekend with Boohoo as part of their #experienceeverything campaign! I fell in love with this floral crop top ever since I posted it in this post!

I just had to go out and buy it! I've loved it ever since! It's a great summer staple. It would look great with denim shorts, maxi skirts, disco pants and jeans! I've teamed it with another favourite of mine at the moment with these white jeans. I am wearing a red lip too which adds a pop of colour to this pastel outfit!

On my nails I'm wearing Barry M Rosehip with Barry M Huckleberry! I love this combination of nail colours at the moment because it's so perfect for this summery weather at the moment! You can't go wrong with a pastel nail polish!

What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear this floral crop top?

What do you think of when you hear the words ‘pencil skirt’? Marilyn Monroe smouldering in a tight-fitting one, teamed with an even more figure-hugging sweater? Rizzo from Grease showing Sandy that tight, not flared, is the way to go if you want to look cool? Or maybe Kelly Brook in her latest ‘flaunt those curves’ outfit?
Whatever springs to mind, the image that appears is always going to be a seriously sexy, glamorous and grown-up one. But before you think ‘OK, so not for me then,’ read on before you dismiss this fabulous feminine look.

Does My Bum Look Big In This?

Possibly, but that’s the whole point, silly! Pencil skirts were first created in the 1940s by Christian Dior, the iconic designer who knew how to design for women and their curves in an age when real women’s bodies were celebrated and admired, not ignored by high fashion designers only interested in teenage beanpole models. A pencil skirt is supposed to cling to all the right places, so as long as it doesn’t feel uncomfortable, you’re all set to get your wiggle on! Still in doubt? Bear in mind that the bootylicious owner of the world’s most famous bottom, Kim Kardashian is a big fan of the pencil skirt. Not only does this signature look show off her famous rear to fab effect, it also accentuates her womanly thighs. So go on, take a leaf out of Kim’s book and celebrate your curves!

Work It

Pencil skirts have always been part of the classic women’s formal skirt suit. So if you want to bring your skirt up to date wear it without the jacket for a fashion-forward, yet office appropriate look that’ll take you straight from your desk and out to dinner. Who said formal workwear has to be boring?

Nights out

Next time it’s date night, ditch the jeans in favour of a pencil skirt. It could be just the thing to put a little pizzazz back into your relationship! The good news is that this skirt shape is incredibly versatile, meaning you won’t need to break the bank buying new tops to match it. These Pencil Skirts from George come in a great range of denims, blacks and neutrals, meaning they’ll go with almost anything. And if it’s a really posh night out, why not treat yourself to a lovely lace one, to add an extra feminine touch to your new ladylike look? Light coloured and patterned ones are also an excellent choice for a wedding, christening or a day at the races.
Dressed Down

Pencil skirts make us picture red lipstick, heels and retro cardigans but if that feels a bit OTT to you, have a think about wearing them the modern way with a t-shirt or a plain grey sweatshirt and ankle boots. You’ll soon be the epitome of effortless ladylike cool.
So remember, next time you’re out and about, give this look a try. You’ll be surprised how flattering it is, especially as it usually has a nice high-waisted cut!

Over the past few months I've developed a real trouser obsession! I absolutely love a pair of patterned trousers and after seeing these on Missguided a few months ago I knew I had to have them!

These trousers recently came back in the back in stock section and I had to snap them up! The material of these trousers is quite thick (in comparison to other Missguided trousers) and they have darts at the top and pockets too! I like how they can be dressed up and dressed down.

I've teamed these trousers with my favourite bralet top from Missguided which is sold out but they have a cheaper £10 black bralet in stock here! I love this outfit combination and topped off with my Ruby Woo by Mac Lipstick and my bright blue next clutch bag this is the perfect going out outfit!

I absolutely adore this outfit and can't wait to wear it on an night-out! I think it's simple but classy and you'll stand out from the crowd as the trousers are such a gorgeous pattern!

What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear these trousers?
