I've never been to a black tie event (other than prom and weddings) so when I got the opportunity to go to New Look's winter wishes ball I really didn't know what to wear! With less than 24 hours notice me and Lucy ended up going to the event in gorgeous Motel gowns (Motel you are total babes for saving the day!) after a busy day at press days and fashion events we got changed and attempted to make ourselves look glam and headed off to the ball! Little did we know what exactly the rest of the evening would be like!
How amazing is this venue?! It was held at a place called Battersea Evolution in London and as soon as we stepped inside of the venue everything looked so posh and so nice!
Dress - Motel Rocks(*) Me and Lucy ended up going to the ball in matching Motel Rocks dresses (In different patterns) and the dresses were gorgeous and perfect for the event! I wore mine with my trusty black heels and one of my favourite necklaces from Topshop.
We then tucked into an amazing three course meal of Salmon for starters, Mushroom Croquettes and this was the pudding! It was far too sickly but look how yummy it looks!
We were sat by the boyband Kingsland Road who were just voted off the X-Factor last weekend (I wanted them or Rough Copy to win) who were really lovely and chatty and I was too happy to meet them!
Flawless (the dance group from Britains Got Talent) performed and they were amazing! The charity auction then took place. I was amazed by how much work New Look do for charity and it was amazing that so much money was raised during the evening too. Lucy even accidently bidded £3,500 on JLS tickets (this is what happens when you stick your hand up by accident! haha) which was really funny!

We then got to watch The Saturdays perform a set live which was amazing! They sang all their most popular songs and we were right at the front too! After a few glasses of wine and cocktails I was dancing away it was so good!

I had such an amazing evening at the ball! Ate lovely food, caught up with some fellow bloggers and met some new ones too! Thankyou so much to New Look for the invite and well done on all the money raised for The Princes Trust!
It was such an overwhelming evening but so much fun!
