A weakness of mine will always be to buy things which are striped. No matter the trend no matter the time of year stripes will never be out of fashion!
Ever since I first bought this dress I knew I'd love it. I got this from Topshop and have worn this so many times! It's out of stock on Topshop but I've found similar versions to this dress here and here! I love wearing this dress with trainers, thick tights and chelsea boots but also with a statement necklace and a leather jacket.
It's been not too bad weather wise here in the UK. So I braved it with bare legs outside! I teamed this outfit with my favourite bright red lipstick Lady Danger and my new favourite purchase which are these trainer/slip ons from Topshop!
I really like this outfit and can't wait to wear this dress more this spring/summer. I think whenever I buy a striped item in my wardrobe it really does last well for years and can never look bad!
What do you think of striped clothes? How would you wear this dress?
It feels like a lifetime ago since I last did an outfit favourites post! You can check out last months post here. I love putting these types of posts together and seeing what i've been loving wearing each month!
From browsing through old outfit posts to find my top favourites I've realised I seem to be loving jeans, coloured jeans and patterned jeans a lot these past few weeks! So here's my favourite outfits from April!
Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Floral Jeans - Topshop Holographic Clutch - New Look Converse - USC(*)
I've got a crazy obsession with these Skinny Rib Crop Tees from Topshop. They are so versatile and easy to wear. I think they look amazing with these jeans too! You can check out the original post here.
Lemon Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Crop Bralet (worn underneath) - Missguided Gingham Joni Jeans - Topshop Faux Alexander Wang Rocco Bag - Ebay Shoes - Spy Love Buy(*)
My second favourite outfit of the month is a similar combination to the first! I thought this was a great summery outfit and the yellow clashes so well with the gingham jeans. You can check out the original post here.
Fern Print Crop Top - River Island White Joni Jeans - Topshop Bag - New Look Jelly Shoes - ASOS(*)
This crop top from River Island is a firm favourite of mine at the moment. It looks great with skirts, shorts and with high-waisted jeans like these ones from Topshop!
What do you think about these outfits? Which is your favourite?
For me a lot of brand campaigns seem quite repetitive but the Me by Me campaign by TK Maxx is totally different. One thing I love about TK Maxx is how it's not your typical fashion brand. It sums up unique style in a way because in every TK maxx store it's completely different. Me by Me uses real TK Maxx shoppers being themselves which I think is something which really represents TK Maxx well. I love how the advert (you can watch the advert here) shows shoppers being themselves, celebrating unique style and showing that you don't have to follow the crowd when it comes to fashion. The advert shows that you have to celebrate your unique style and individuality is what makes us special, especially when it comes to fashion. A few weeks ago I went down to London for the event. I saw mega babes such as Laura, Kristabel and Clare which was so nice as they're all absolutely lovely. We were treated to yummy food and amazing cocktails! So here's the really exciting bit! TK Maxx are giving you all the chance to win a £60 gift card to celebrate the Me by Me campaign! All you have to do is follow me and TK Maxx on twitter and tweet their favourite Me by Me look which sums up your style! You can also have extra entries following me via social media channels! You can enter via rafflecopter here:
I think as girls we all can't but help snap the outfits we're trying on in a changing room! We all do it! I thought I'd put together a post with the links to the clothes from the snaps on Instagram I've posted lately! You can follow me on Instagram here.
Here's what I've been trying on lately when I've been shopping! It seems to be that I now have a thing for printed tops and coloured jeans!
I've been a little bit behind on these high-street picks posts at the moment. It feels like ages ago since my last high-street picks (which you can check out here)! I love putting these types of posts together and going back through previous posts like this to see what I was loving!
Hawaiian Floral Cami - Topshop Tropical V Bralet - Topshop Mint Handbag - Ebay Fluro Pink Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Blue Gingham Joni Jeans - Topshop Barry M Pastel Gelly Nail Polishes - ASOS Faux Leather Flatform Sandals - Missguided Blue Playsuit - In Love With Fashion
I loved this floral cami when I first saw it. I thought it would look great with a pair of white jeans and a pair of sandals! This tropical bralet seems to be everywhere in the blogosphere at the moment! I think this print is absolutely gorgeous for summer! This mint handbag is an absolute bargain from Ebay for only £12! It's a great summer staple and such an easy cheap way to update your wardrobe!
What do you think of these picks? What would you add to your wishlist?
One thing i'm going to try and do more of is typical casual outfits I wear from day to day instead of mainly party outfits! Being a student you want to dress casual and comfortable but still stay stylish. So here's an outfit I've worn lately!
I recently bought this top from River Island and I absolutely love it. I've worn this top before in this outfit post and I absolutely loved how it looked with white jeans. I think this top looks great with black jeans too. So I popped on my favourite black jeans which are Mom jeans from Topshop. They are the comfiest pair of jeans I own and I've had them over a year and they fit perfectly!
This is an outfit I wear on a daily basis. It's casual but a little quirky. I loved wearing a leather jacket over every outfit at the moment. I think it's because it's not that sunny yet here in England but its sunny enough to put on some summery clothes just the jacket keeps me extra warm!
I recently bought the white vamp skaters from Topshop when they had 20% off for students (major bargain!) after owning the black pair for a few months. I found the black ones so comfy and easy to wear and I'm loving how they're a great alternative to wearing white converse all the time!
What do you think of this outfit? What do you wear on a casual day?
Two things you can't really go wrong with is a black and white outfit. I find that black and white items are timeless, they last in your wardrobe forever and look good with pretty much anything!
I bought this top last year which I absolutely love. It's been a style staple in my wardrobe ever since. I love wearing this top with high-waisted jeans, skirts, shorts and with disco pants. I thought this would be the perfect top to go with these jeans and love how this outfit clashes with my red lipstick!
I really like this outfit. I would wear this more for daytime with a pair of flat shoes or trainers. For night-time I'd style it up just like this with these heels and a clutch bag! I think both this top and these jeans are great style staples to add to your wardrobe this season!
I really love these shoes from Spy Love Buy! They're really comfortable and super easy to wear and they look so gorgeous in the other colours available too!
