Some of you may have seen that just over a week ago on my way back from New Zealand I headed over to visit Kim from Sweet Monday for a couple of days in Sydney, Australia! It was such a lovely visit. I loved spending more time with Kim, eating out and having lots of mojitos and catching up! I loved sight seeing and seeing the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge too! So Here's a little bit of a photo insight of what I got up to!
On the second morning I was in Sydney with Kim we headed to the most adorable place for lunch! We had eggs benedict but with a twist so instead of bacon it had southern fried chicken and it was SO good! While Kim was at work I did a bit of sight seeing! I walked through Hyde Park which was so nice before heading to the Opera House and Harbour Bridge!
Seeing the Opera House and Harbour Bridge was amazing! I absolutely loved seeing them in real life it was so nice! Here's what I wore during the day!
I loved wearing this outfit because I felt a bit summery! These floral trousers are so perfect for summer and I love how they look with the sandals! I thought this was a great casual but stylish look for wandering around Australia in!
What do you think of this outfit? Have you been to Australia?
Some of you may know about a week ago now on the way back from 2 months in New Zealand I went to stay with blogger babe Kim as she's currently living in Sydney, Australia! My plane was stopping there on the way back to England and so it was the perfect chance to spend a few days exploring the city and spend time with Kim! One thing about hanging out with a fellow blogger means outfit photos!
These photos were taken on the roof of the building where Kim lives isn't it amazing the view?! You can take a read about what me and Kim got up to on her blog here! I couldn't wait to where an outfit a little bit more summery as it was such a gorgeous day in Sydney!
I absolutely loved wearing this outfit. I think a kimono is such an easy way to glam up such a simple outfit. On a sunny day this kimono was so nice to wear! Boohoo have such a great selection of Kimono's in at the moment too and all under £20! I teamed the kimono with a simple white crop top from Miss Selfridge and my trusty pair of disco pants!
What do you think of this outfit? How'd you wear this kimono?
It feels so strange writing one of these posts again. I'm a little bit behind with them but i'm determined to get back into the swing of things! One things for sure that the shops at the moment are stuck in that 'in-between' phase. You know where it's not quiet summer still but it's going into spring so it's hard to figure out what you should be buying!
I'm loving this Tropical Jumpsuit at the moment! I think it'd look amazing with a pair of chelsea boots and a leather jacket! One thing I seriously love is a striped t-shirt. You can never go wrong with them as they go with pretty much any outfit for a chic and effortless look. One thing I really want to invest in this season is a good pair of boots, a nice checkered shirt and a pair of ripped jeans!
Which items would you buy? What's on your current wishlist?
Some of you may have noticed that for the past 2 months I've been travelling and interning in New Zealand! I saw so many beautiful sights and took far too many photos so I thought I'd share with all a little bit of what I got up to with a photo diary post! There'll be a couple more posts like this as I just have far too many photos to show you all!
This past few weeks I've been so tired from travelling and been visiting lots of places I haven't had much time to blog! But now i'm back in UK again and have lots of stories from my trip to the other side of the world to share with you all! At the start of this week I left New Zealand and went to go and stay with one of my favourite blogger girlies Kim! I had the best few days staying in Australia with her and here's one of the outfits I wore!
I really loved this outfit and it felt so summery! It wasn't that warm in Australia but it was sunny! Kim took these outfit photos for me on the rooftop of where her flat is and it's an absolutely beautiful view!
I wore this outfit with a leather jacket for a casual but well put together look. I picked this skirt up for about $40 (which is about £18) while I was with Kim in Sydney! I fell in love with it and all I want to do is wear it everyday at the moment as I feel so feminine in it and girly!
I think this is a great outfit for all year round as you can pop on a leather jacket to stay warm! I teamed this outfit with my favourite red lipstick from MAC which is Russian Red. I really love this outfit combination and will definitely be wearing it a lot more! I think this skirt will look great with a white crop top or if it's really cold an oversized black jumper!
What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear this skirt?
I didn't think I'd love this jumpsuit as much as I do. When I saw it online I fell in love with the pattern but I wasn't sure whether it was suit me! As soon as It arrived at my door I didn't want to take it off. This jumpsuit is quite possibly my comfiest jumpsuit I own! I've been interning over here in New Zealand for the past few weeks at a marketing agency and I've worn this for a few days and it's got lots of compliments in the office!
It's so comfy and actually really warm too. It's not that warm in New Zealand at the moment and this has kept me warm through-out the day! I've been wearing this jumpsuit with Birkenstocks (Like these from Topshop!) and with ankle boots. I think for a great summer feel this jumpsuit looks amazing with white shoes!
One thing that always puts me in a good mood is listening to old songs! When I was younger in my early teens I used to love listening to the chart hits as I am sure most of you reading this did! After rediscovering my love for Jojo's 'Leave Get Out' yesterday morning I decided to put this post together!
Believe it or not most of these songs are about 10 years old now! If you want your morning/evening brightened up log onto to Youtube and blast these songs from your speakers and have a dance around your room/office/silent rave in your head haha!
One thing I do really enjoy doing is buying these sorts of albums cheaply off Amazon for as little as 1p and blasting old songs in my car!
This song was first released by in 2004, when Jojo was just 13! Other hits of her's worth redownloading/re-purchasing are 'Too Little Too Late' and 'Not That Kinda Girl'.
Natasha Bedingfield is a real favourite of mine. I have always loved her songs! Her album 'Unwritten' is full of so many classics including These Words, Single, Unwritten, and Bruise Easily. Other good songs by her are 'Pocket Full of Sunshine' and 'I wanna have your babies!'
Anyone remember Lizzie Mcguire? Hilary Duff was so popular 10 years ago and I remember loving her songs when I was younger despite them being so cheesy. I loved 'So Yesterday' 'Wake Up' and the song from the Lizzie Mcguire movie 'Hey Now!'
I've always loved Ciara's music. Goodies, Get Up, Love Sex & Magic to name a few but 1,2 step is definitely my favourite. I'm going to purchase this CD for my car!
What songs make you feel nostalgic? Do you love listening to old tracks from your younger days?
