Do you ever find yourself thinking oh god I don't know what to wear on my next night out? Do you sort of think oh well I wore that last time and I can't wear that again so soon? Well I thought I'd share with you all my latest way to jazz up a simple outfit!
Since I got this jumpsuit from Missguided , which you can see me wearing in this blog post I've been obsessed with it! I wear it on lazy days around the house with a jumpsuit on top (as it's so comfy) I'll wear a belt round it with heels for a night out and now I love wearing it with a simple cropped t-shirt underneath.
I've been loving these Skinny Rib Crop Tees for a while now from Topshop. They're a bargain at £8 each and so versatile too. I love wearing them with high-waisted trousers, disco pants, high-waisted jeans and they look amazing! I thought this was the perfect top to wear underneath this jumpsuit and it updates the look by adding colour. I've styled this outfit as more of a night look but during the day I've worn this outfit with a leather jacket on top and a pair of flat shoes!
Do you have those days where all you want to do is go shopping? Well I had one of those days yesterday! You may have caught yesterdays post about the nail polish I bought which I love! I've been lusting after a pair of white jeans for a while and I finally caved in this weekend!
Fern Print Crop Top - River Island White Joni Jeans - Topshop Bag - New Look Jelly Shoes - ASOS(*)
Since buying these jeans I haven't wanted to take them off! They make me feel SO SUMMERY and I love it! I think white jeans are a perfect style staple for every girls wardrobe this summer. What's great about white jeans is they literally go with everything!
Fern Print Crop Top - River Island White Joni Jeans - Topshop Bag - New Look Jelly Shoes - ASOS(*)
I've teamed these jeans up with my new top I picked up in River Island which I absolutely love. This top is so so soft and the print on it is amazing! I never really normally buy things in River Island but they've been killing it lately and they have so many gorgeous bits in! I was obsessed with the tropical palm print crop top but never managed to get my hands on it before it sold out so I picked up this one!

I've teamed this top up with my new white jeans because they clash so well together. The jeans make this print really stand out! I'm wearing this outfit with my jelly shoes which I've loving at the moment. It seems to me that jelly shoes are popping up everywhere at the moment! (maybe it's time to embrace our inner child selves!)
I absolutely love this outfit. I'd through on a leather jacket if it's a bit colder but this is definitely the perfect spring outfit I'd wear at the moment!
What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear these white jeans?
It feels like forever since I last blogged! I've had a really busy week this week but now finally have some time to sit down and blog! I went out shopping today and I just had to pick up this Essie Nail Polish! It's been the colour which has been around on the blogosphere for a few weeks now. I can't remember where I first saw it but a new I had to have it! I was in Boots and managed to pick up the last 'Truth or Flare' in stock! Truth or Flare is part of Essie's new Spring Collection. Out of the 6 new shades which they've released this was definitely my favourite. It's a gorgeous blue/grey shade and after about two coats it gives a really good finish. I'm obsessed with this and can't wait to wear it more!
The Spring Collection is out now and priced at £7.99 each. I picked this up in-store at Boots as it's got a 3 for 2 on all make up on again too! So go and get it before it sells out!
Some of you may remember my post about buying the Naked 2 Palette for £5.24 and it was really popular. Yes I know it's not the real thing but with my blog I try and save you guys money and for £40 a pop the Naked Palettes are expensive! Today I'm going to review the Naked 3 Palette which you can currently get from the same website for only £3.63!
Yes I know it's not the real thing but it's a very good dupe. Barring a couple of shades the eyeshadows are quite close to the original Urban Decay Naked 3 palette and are quite soft to touch. They are also well pigmented and last a good amount of time aswell.
If you still aren't sure about this palette there's plenty of good reviews on the website here. Yet again I'm impressed with this dupe and would definitely recommend buying it! It's a great dupe for less than a fraction of the price of the real thing.
This outfit is more of a 'me' on a casual basis outfit. Maybe not my heels I'd swap them for trainers but I just had to show you all these new beauties in my life! I'm a massive fan of high-waisted jeans at the moment and I've finally picked up these beauts!
Lemon Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Crop Bralet (worn underneath) - Missguided Gingham Joni Jeans - Topshop Faux Alexander Wang Rocco Bag - Ebay Shoes - Spy Love Buy(*)
Yes the beauts I'm talking about are the Topshop Gingham Joni Jeans! I've had my eye on them for months and months now and I just caved in and bought them! They are a great alternative to normal high-waisted jeans and the pattern isn't too over the top. You could easily wear these jeans on a night out with a nice crop top but also during the day too with baggy jumpers, oversized t-shirts or even rock the double denim look with a denim shirt!
I don't know whether you'll remember the 'IT' bag from a few years ago, the Alexander Wang 'Rocco' bag. There was a dupe flying around on Ebay which everyone was buying and I bought mine from this seller and I still wear it a lot today as it's a great bag!

I've teamed these jeans up with my new rib crop tee from Topshop aswell. I have a few of these now and the colour selection of these tops is amazing. You can check out them all here. At only £8 a t-shirt these Rib Crop Tees are a bargain!

I'm wearing Models Own Hyper Gel in White Light on my nails which I think clashes really well with the yellow of my top and the gingham print of my jeans! If it's not a warm day I'd throw on a leather jacket on top of this t-shirt! One thing I'd say is this top is a little see through but I fell in love with this top colour so I'm wearing a white Missguided bralet underneath the t-shirt!
I was recently sent these shoes from Spy Love Buy and I absolutely love them. They seem to be everywhere at the moment and a bit of a blogger 'must-have' shoe! They are a little higher than I thought they'd be but they're pretty comfortable and definitely a statement shoe to wear!
What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear these jeans?
p.s A little heads up It's currently FREE DELIVERY over on Topshop!
I've always been a fan of wearing jumpsuits. I love how they're so comfortable and look amazing on so many figures. I really like how they tuck you in well at the waist too (depending on the shape you get) I've got a couple of jumpsuits now and I'm absolutely loving my new one!
As soon as I put this jumpsuit on it felt like the comfiest item of clothing I've ever worn. It's such a bargain at £30 and also comes in white and black and black too! You could easily wear this with sandals and massive sunnies on a sunny day but also with heels and a clutch bag for a posh evening out!
It's got an amazing shape and comes with a belt to tie at the waist too. I love the feel of this jumpsuit and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. I think this is an amazing alternative if you're one of those people which doesn't like wearing dresses too!
I've matched my nail polish with my clutch bag and I'm currently wearing Models Own Hyper Gel in White Light which I absolutely love! I think this is a great outfit for an evening out!
What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear this jumpsuit?
One trend I'm loving right now is the pastels trend. I love how white, pale blues and pale pinks are everywhere!
Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Floral Jeans - Topshop Holographic Clutch - New Look Converse - USC(*)
As soon as I bought these jeans on Oxford Street's Topshop after wanting them for ages I was evening more in love with them! They are one of my favourite items to wear at the moment as you've probably seen! A lot of blogger don't wear the same thing more than once on their blog but I think it's about mixing and matching and making the clothes you do purchase have more wear out of them!
Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Floral Jeans - Topshop Holographic Clutch - New Look Converse - USC(*)
I absolutely love how well this outfit goes together! You may have seen this top before in this post. I really like how the blue t-shirt clashes with my jeans but they also go so well together!
Rib Crop Tee - Topshop Floral Jeans - Topshop Holographic Clutch - New Look Converse - USC(*)
I completely forgot even my nail polish is pastel! I'm wearing Models Own Apple Pie which is from their scented collection which I absolutely love. I think it's a great spring/summer shade. I love the Barry M Gelly Pastel Nail Varnishes aswell which I've reviewed on my blog already here!
What do you think of this outfit? How would you style up the pastels trend?
p.s A little heads up It's currently FREE DELIVERY over on Topshop!
These high-street round up posts are probably one of my favourite kind of posts to put together! I love pulling together my favourite items out on the high-street and online each week. I am obsessed with florals and pastels at the moment and here's what I'm loving this week!
Topshop always seem to kill it when it comes to basic crop tops/bralets. I'm loving this blue one and it'd look amazing with pattern trousers, with shorts on holiday or just on an night out with a statement necklace and disco pants! I don't yet own a pair of floral joggers but I absolutely love these! Playsuits are also a bit of an obsession with mine and I just think this playsuit would look amazing with white heels and a statement clutch. Skater shoes like these Gingham ones and they're perfect for everyday. If you're tired of your converse then these type of skater shoes are definitely worth a try!
What do you think of these picks? Which of them would you add to your wishlist?
p.s A little heads up It's currently FREE DELIVERY over on Topshop !
One thing I love about these trousers is that they're so easy to wear. I love how comfortable they are and in many ways it feels like you're wearing pyjama bottoms they are that comfy! I love wearing these trousers on nights out with a plain crop and because they're black and white these trousers go with everything!
I've teamed these trousers with my favourite bright red lipstick Ruby Woo! I think a red lip with this outfit really ads a little more colour to this outfit. I love wearing this crop t-shirt, trouser combo casually with a leather jacket and pair of black flats too!
I'd wear this outfit on a night-out and paired down during the day with a leather jacket and flats! These t-shirts from Topshop are so cheap and versatile too and they fold up really small so they are perfect to take on your summer holidays!
What do you think of this outfit? How'd you wear these trousers?
Ten reasons I'm in exactly the right place right now seemed like a hard thing to right about initially but after drafting ideas for the post it wasn't as hard as I first thought. I was recently contacted by Twinnings Infusions to write a post for there content hub on the Huffington Post about 10 reasons I'm in exactly the right place right now. So here we go!
1. I've had a few jobs since I was 15 years old and started this blog. I've worked on a curry stand at my local football stadium, freelanced for shoe e-tailers running there social media, I've also worked in retail for two big retailers.
2. Out of all my jobs I've learnt a lot and it's taught me a lot about what i'd like to do for a career. I really enjoyed working on the curry stand as every game was different and the customers always made me laugh. I really enjoyed working with bloggers during my time working for shoe e-tailers and running their social media pages but the job I probably enjoyed the most was retail.
3. I loved working in retail as it's very challenging. It was probably my worst paid job I've ever had but I learnt an awful lot from it. Retail has you working hard all the time whether it's customer service, merchandising, working on the tills, carrying clothes to and from places or dressing mannequins. I loved working in a team in retail and I am grateful to still be in contact with some of the people I worked with this time last year.
4. Since working in retail I'm currently working part-time in Marketing. I spend my working days writing press releases, running the social media, interviewing for articles and designing banners and promotional materials.
5. I work as part of a bigger team now and it is challenging but it's an enjoyable job. Aswell as work in Marketing I also work a lot on this blog! For the first time in 4 years I've got time to blog more and focus on blogging and generate content for you guys!
6. One things for sure that working from home is not the easiest of things to do as It's hard to stay motivated. But I thought I'd finish this article with tips to staying motivated when you're working from home.
7. At first I thought working in your pyjamas can't be that bad right? But sooner enough I found it harder and harder to stay motivated and sometimes I still do. One thing I did do was build myself a workspace. An area which I could treat like an office. I use a desk in my room with the latest magazines by the side of me, a few photos frames and a notebook. You might have seen my workspace in this post.
8. Get out more is another key thing. Whether it's popping to the shops for a restock on tea or going for a lunch date/dinner date catch up with friends. It's something I've struggled with for months but I'm getting a lot better at now as it's so easy to just sit working away at your desk as the hours just fly by and you wonder where the day has gone!
9. Finding a routine is the hardest thing i've had to do since working at home but it is easier the earlier you get up. Most days when I'm working from home I try and get out of bed and have breakfast by about 10am. I then sit replying to emails till about 12 (as there's always a lot) and then I start drafting blog post ideas, reading other blogs and take outfit photos before editing the photos, uploading them to Flickr and then writing the blog posts. I try and shut off by about 7pm which seems like a very long working day!
10. Shutting off is probably the most difficult thing. As a generation of the Internet and social media, it's hard to not check up on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram when you have a spare 5 minutes. I try and shut off by about 6/7pm but I'll probably still tweet through-out the evening!
I'd recommend being your own boss if you get the chance as it's a really different way to work. If you ever get the chance to do it it's worth giving a go. Being your own boss is a lot of hardwork, takes a lot of motivation and is sometimes very difficult.
So there we have it, 10 reasons why I'm in exactly the right place right now. I've worked in various jobs and have even spent time at university studying. I'm happy in what I'm doing right now but I can't wait to get back to university and start studying again in September!
These trousers are literally my favourite trousers to wear. I've worn them pretty much every week since I got them way back in September. They're perfect for nights-out, lounging around the house in and even for smart workwear.
I love versatile items and this is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. These trousers also come in Black with white checks and you can buy the same style in this floral check too. Post featuring these trousers have always been quite popular on my blog and so I thought I'd do a post summarising 3 ways I wear them!
Crepe Bralet in Blue - Missguided Monochrome Square Print Trousers - Missguided(*) Holographic Clutch Bag - New Look Shoes - Ebay
I really like this bralet. I also bought it in white too. What's great about this bralet is it's only £9.99! You can also get this bralet in Mint, Black, Lilac & Pink too. I think it's worth picking up a couple of these bralets to take you through to this summer. They all come in such gorgeous colours too. I think this outfit combination is great for a night-out. Especially with a bright lipstick! You can check out the full post here.

This is possibly one of my favourite outfits I've ever posted on my blog. I love the fit of this bralet and how the trousers look when they're on.
