When an email dropped in my inbox entitled USC and 'challenge' I knew it'd be a fab little email to read. I used to be an employee of Republic (which has merged into USC these past few months) up until July. Being a massive fan of Republic clothing and having loved my time working there I was delighted to take part in this challenge! I was challenged to pick out an outfit completely from the Sale section which was £30 or under and was given kindly by USC at £30 voucher! This was a hard hard task because there's so so many bargains in the
Mid-Season Sale!
Crop Top - Motel Rocks at USC
Skirt - Glamorous at USCI chose this crop top as I'm a massive fan of motel rocks and find their prints really flattering towards my figure. I love the colour of this crop top and can see it's a layering essential! I'd wear this with high-waisted trousers, high-waisted shorts & skirts but also layered underneath playsuits and dungarees!
Crop Top - Motel Rocks at USC
Skirt - Glamorous at USCI'm never normally a fan of the skater skirt but I love this acid grey wash one! It fits on me just right and it's a skirt you could wear during the day not just at night!
Crop Top - Motel Rocks at USC
Skirt - Glamorous at USCMy outfit totalled to £30! I loved doing this challenge as it made me relive my student year a bit and keep a real good eye on what I was spending!

For some reason it feels like
BEYOND ages ago that I posted an outfit post! I just haven't had much free time lately so hopefully i'll be back into blogging outfits properly in these next few weeks! I thought today I'd show you all a little gem I've recently received from Motel Rocks and I can honestly say I'm a little bit in love...
Dress - Motel Rocks(*)
Jeffrey Campbells - Cloggs(*)When this dress arrived in the post I wasn't as sure as I was about it when it was on the model, but once I'd tried it on my mind changed completely! It's a gorgeous fitting dress and I absolutely love the cut out detailing on the shoulders and how it really makes the dress stand out!
Dress - Motel Rocks(*)
Jeffrey Campbells - Cloggs(*)I love how this dress is available in so many different colours too! I may have to get a couple more! At only £35 this dress isn't breaking the bank either. It's a dress you could bring out from your wardrobe year after year and team it up with different pieces of statement jewellery and shoes and accessories to make you're whole outfit look different everytime! I love how these dresses come in such statement colours you're bound to step out from the crowd!
Jeffrey Campbells - Cloggs(*)I want you all to say hello to these new babies which I've welcomed into my life. As a fashion blogger it seems like everyone owns a pair of Jeffrey Campbells! Lucy has a few pairs and I'm always stealing them when I'm round hers as they are
SO comfy and easy to wear. I know they may seem a little high but they are the comfiest pair of heels I've worn in a long time! I'm so excited to have some Jeffrey Campbells in my life and you may see them appear on quite a few more outfit posts!

So on the 16th & 17th of September I was lucky enough to join the team at Ogilvy PR on a press trip to Copenhagen. I had such an amazing couple of days! (
read the first post here) and loved getting the chance to see another country especially one I've never been to before it was the best! So here's part two!
After what was possibly the most yummy breakfast ever of bacon and scrambled eggs and croissants and cheese (me and Lucy and Amy scoffed our faces!) We were taken over to Trollbeads HQ which was the most gorgeous bunch of offices ever! They were really cute and quirky and it seemed like if you worked there it would have been a joy to work there! We were treated to these
AMAAAAAZING mocktails (not cocktails as it was 11am!) and I had a few of them as they were so so yummy!
We were taken to see the views from the top of the offices which were amazing and how cool is this circle window?! (It was a perfect picture opportunity haha!)
playsuit - Missguided(*)My outfit choice for the invite was this gorgeous Missguided playsuit which I'm a little bit in love with at the moment as it's so so comfy and easy to wear! A lot of you liked a photo of this on Instagram!
We were taken down to a presentation about the launch which I was really impressed with. I've always loved a chain bracelet and really liked the whole concept of 'X by Trollbeads'. The individual links come in gold, silver, rubber & bronze and you can create and change the links to create a new bracelet which is a concept I find amazing as you'll always feel like you've got a new piece of jewellery on your arm!
We were treated to a gorgeous meal with the cutest little name places ever! (here's a photo of mine!)
I had the most amazing time in Copenhagen and it was so so nice to be invited! Thanks so much to Ogilvy PR and the team at Trollbeads for inviting me!

As fashion bloggers & fashion lovers I think I can speak for us all when I saw we have bulging wardrobes through off too many clothes. I am trying to downsize and believe me it's
SUPER hard. It's taken me months to actually organise my wardrobe and shoes (here's a photo for evidence)
The next pain I'll talk about is Ebay. It's turned into my worst nightmare as I didn't realise how many fees they take! You sell an item for £1-£4 and they take the majority of it! It's worst when the packaging for the garment/item you're selling is more than what the original item sold for! I've noticed that the post office is quite an expensive way to sell your parcels and buying your postage through Ebay you just end up more out of pocket than you were in the first place!
I then discovered
Delivery Quote Compare. I knew there must be a cheaper way to send the parcels I sold on Ebay and I'm so glad I found this option! Delivery Quote Compare can save you up to 60% on delivery costs (which means a little bit more money in your pocket at the end of the day!)
It's an amazing service if you're selling quite a few items on Ebay and they all end on the same day as you can send them all at once for a much cheaper price! You can arrange delivery too so they'll come and pick up your parcels (how totally amazeballs is this!) This means one less annoying trip to the post office too!
I love the idea of this service and anyway to help save a few pennies is a good idea to me. From now on I'm going to continue using alternative services to the post office to delivery my Ebay parcels!
What do you think of services like this? Do you use an alternative delivery service to post your parcels?

I've decided to temporarily get rid of my weekly wishlist feature as I felt it's time to try something new! So here it is it's called What I like In... Each week I'll be showing you all my favourite must have items in some of the best stores and online retailers around. Firstly it's what I like in Topshop... who doesn't
LOVE Topshop?!
Check Leggings - £25
Floral Print Blazer - £65
Black High Waited Shorts - £30
Spot Print Shirt - £32
Acid Denim Playsuit - £20
Diamond Cut Out Necklace - £10
Gladiator Strap Boots - £72I adore these checkered leggings and they're so on trend at the moment! I love the pattern and how they're not to OTT! I think the leggings would look great paired with a white baggy t-shirt and a leather jacket with a pair of converse for the perfect cozy daytime look! I've always been a fan of bright coloured blazers and ever since seeing this floral number I'm a little bit in love with it! I definitely think Topshop should create some shorts in this print and it'd be the perfect short suit! I love a good pair of high-waisted shorts and this pair seems like the perfect style staple to add to any wardrobe! I'm really into layering clothing at the moment and this spot print shirt is such a style staple! It would look great with high waisted trousers/riding pants but also amazing worn under the acid denim playsuit or a pair of dungarees! I'm a firm believer of a statement necklace and this one is only £10 so it's the perfect little addition to add to your wardrobe! Cut-out boots seem to be all the rage right now and how stunning is this pair?!
What do you think of my picks? Would you wear any of these? How would you wear them?

I would never call myself a book worm but when these two books came through my post box a few days ago I began reading and I haven't put the book geek girl down since. Geek Girl tells the story of Harriet Manners a geek who dreams of becoming a model. At the start of the book Harriet is on a field trip with her school at a sort of fashion convention. Her best friend Nat is ecstatic because her dream is to be a model. But unfortunately Harriet causes quite a scene and gets spotted by a modelling agency. Then she suddenly has a agent. And then she's going to shoots. Oh and there's is a very hot boy hanging around. Who happens to be a model. With an Australian accent. (oooh la la)
Geek Girl on Amazon(*)The bit I love about the book is that Harriet is full of facts she's constantly spewing these facts out during the book and I can quite honestly say out of the bits I've read a didn't know a lot of the facts which are in the book! no matter what conversation Harriet's in she's got an interesting fact to provide!
At only 15, Harriet is totally a geek. She loves studying and school. But she's also clumsy, naive and absolutely hilarious. There's a lot of laughing out load moments in the part of the book I've read so far! She doesn't necessarily think before she speaks or does something. Which added with the fact that she's this awkward, geeky model. Some bizarre situations seem to arise!
I've not had the chance to read too much but the book accompanied me on the plane to Copenhagen last week! I have really enjoyed it so far and can't wait to read the rest of it and the next book in the series on the bus to Paris this weekend!
You can grab your copy of the book on
Amazon and you can follow the author Holly on
Twitter and you can like
Geek Girl on Facebook! Geek Girl 2 is being published from 26th September 2013.
What do you think of Geek Girl? Have you read the first installment of this book?I've also been given the chance to giveaway a copy of the book! Want it to be yours? enter the comp here!

I started blogging at the age of 15. With no idea i'd be able to get such opportunities as something like this. When an email dropped in my inbox a little over ten days ago saying I was invited to Copenhagen I screamed of excitement. If there's anything I love just as much as fashion it's travelling. I love seeing new countries and experiencing different ways of life and when this email arrived in my inbox I was excited at just the thought of going abroad with blogging! So on Monday I flew out to Copenhagen. I took a little to many photos so there's going to be another post from the trip up in the next few days too!
(This was on the way back but I wanted a window plane wing shot from the plane! haha!)I was invited by Grace and the lovely team over at
Ogilvy PR to come and join them and some fab other bloggers on a trip out to Copenhagen for the launch of
Troll Beads new collection
X by Trollbeads! I was so scared to get a flight by myself for the first time but I managed it and managed to get in to Copenhagen in one piece! (yay!)
(Where we stayed 71 Nyhavn Hotel)We stayed in the most gorgeous hotel which had the yummiest breakfast in the morning too! We were definitely spoilt! I love the views from this hotel too, right onto the sea front! It was in the most beautiful location!
Pretty much as soon as we got to our hotel and we'd unpacked our belongings me and Lucy and Amy went on an explore of the town. It was absolutely beautiful! (anyone spot lucy in this photo?!)
Some snaps from our sight seeing on Monday afternoon! being typical bloggers we are we had to stop for food and here's a snap of me and
Amy in Wagamamas. Thanks to this invite to Copenhagen I finally got to meet her after reading her blog for years! If you don't know her blog already take a look at it
here!
Later on in the evening we were taken to
Tribeca NV which is owned by two of the owners of Trollbeads Peter and Lise. We were spoilt with gorgeous food and my favourite was the salmon canapes!
With Amy & Lucy at the dinner!I really love this photo! We had such a lovely dinner and we had so much fun chatting the night away.
We finished our day with some yummy cocktails back at the Hotel! These were amazing! I've never had a frozen cocktail let alone a frozen strawberry daquiri!
Absolutely loved my first day in Copenhagen! A post will be up in a few days about what we all got up to on day 2 and the actual launch of X by Trollbeads!

So I know a lot of you are starting university in the next couple of weeks (or have already started uni) and so I thought I'd do a few 'freshers' themed posts! Having gone to university myself last year I thought with my experience and a bit of fashion knowledge it may be of use to some of you! I've put together a little lookbook of inspiration and I hope you all love it!
(Here's just a few of the outfits I wore on nights out during my freshers year!)
Top - Missguided(*)
Red Disco Pants - MissguidedI've always loved the disco pant trend. This is a sort of fail safe outfit for me as I love disco pants and have them in many colours (fake & real ones) and you can't beat a black crop top. This is one of my favourites that I own as the detailing is amazing! This is the sort of outfit you'd wear on a casual night out with wedges or my favourite option converse! comfort comes first right?!
Top - Topshop
Treggings - TopshopI live in treggings and they're a great item of clothing to wear during the day with an over-sized top or jumper and great at night with a cami top like this one from Topshop! this is an outfit you could wear at night with a pair of flats or heels to glam up your look!
Cami Top - ASOS
Skirt - Missguided(*) I absolutely love this outfit and it's one of my favourites. I love a good cami top and this one is an essential in my wardrobe! I love a patterned skirt and this one from Missguided is gorgeous! the sequin pattern on it is incredible. I think it's a great skirt as it's one which will brighten up any outfit. It's great to team with just a plain vest and a statement necklace for the perfect going out look!
Playsuit - Missguided(*) During my 1st year at university a playsuit was my best friend. I love how you can wear them again and again and they look completely different with just a change of hairstyle or lipstick. I adore this playsuit as it's so quirky and different! I love how playsuit are so so so so comfy and easy to wear and definitely think a playsuit or two is required in any freshers wardrobe!
Necklace - Topshop
Shift Dress - Missguided(*) A recent favourite of mine is a shift dress. This ones an absolute bargain from Missguided at
£19.99! I've worn this many times already and lets put it this way it's neon orange so no-one will lose you on a night out! (win!) haha! This dress looks great with a statement necklace and really does make you stand out from the crowd with bare legs and an amazing clutch bag and heels!
