Since becoming a student I seem to be scared of spending my student loan unless it's for food or taxi's or uni trips. So many people I know are spending their loan or everything they 'think' they want and not what they actually need. Throwing hundreds down the drain because they want to buy something designer rather than thinking about what's actually necessary.
Yes I know clothes and beauty items are necessary but I think the others come first. I need to buy a few things though and I would love to get a few things to make my university room more homely! (I might do a post on this!) but first I want to show you all a site i've recently come across which is discounthunt.co.uk! If you're not familiar with discount code websites they'll soon become your best friends!
When you're shopping online or even on the high-street its a wise move to check the current discount codes on offer by finding them online especially for restaurants and clothes you could make a HUGE saving! I for one love shopping but now I'm a student I'm being very wary about my spending! Discount Hunt has already helped me save money and I had to share this secret with you all! They currently have great debenhams discount codes, H&M and ASOS codes.
What do you think of discount code websites? do you check them before you go shopping? have they saved you money?

Since realising I'm going to spend the majority of the next 3 years of my life walking miles and miles each day to get to University everything I look at now to buy clothing wise is now going to be comfortable and stylish and practical (not that the things I bought before weren't but the fact that now I'm walking miles wearing these things I am thinking again before I buy!) I have my eye on a few things in Topshop but now I'm a university student affording these things is even more impossible! (boo!) But I thought I'd show you guys what I would buy! Definitely want this jacket though!
Photobucket
1. Fur Collar Quilted Biker Jacket - £58
2. Moto Wine Clean Hotpants - £28
3. Royal Blue Heavy Weight Leggings - £18
4. Oxblood Speckle Skater Skirt - £16
5. Brooklyn Burnout Tee - £16
6. Basic Curve Hem Sweater - £18
7. Millicent Stud back Black Boots - £40

When I think about getting new items of clothing for my wardrobe now I'm thinking about mixing and matching more than ever. I absolutely adore this jacket and I've had my eye on it for a while It's perfect for layering and wearing all the way through winter and especially when you're walking miles everyday it's going to be cold! But i'm also looking for a proper coat with a hood too! So if you have any ideas/suggestions let me know! Hotpants just seem to be a thing I wear all year round and I love these burgundy ones! I love heavy weight leggings from Topshop as they are so so warm and last forever I have the black ones which I adore but these blue ones are gorgeous too! I am getting into wearing more and more skirts now and I love skater skirts and how you can just throw on a skater skirt with a casual t-shirt and look quite edgy! I live in Topshop sweaters like these so I'll be definitely purchasing this one! I'm looking for the perfect pair of boots to to last me through winter wish these were leather! But I love them anyway!
Which item would you buy? Are you at university? Which would be your university essential?

Since moving away I have discovered my new home is 2 miles away from my uni campus (kill me now) which is a bit of a walk to do first thing in the morning! I thought that I wouldn't wear my trainers much but now I really do LIVE in them! Wearing other shoes to uni just doesn't seem very possible! So now I'm more obsessed with trainers than ever!
Photobucket
1,2,3,4,5 - Converse at Spartoo
6,7 - Vans at Spartoo
I'm yet to own a pair of vans but I've heard they're just like converse! I am currently wearing my white pair of converse to death as I managed to leave my other trainers at home!
What shoes would you wear if you're walking 5 miles a day? What Shoes would you wear? Would you wear trainers? Do you like trainers?

It's not very often you find a bag you REALLY love. Despite being a blogger and a fashion student I'm someone who doesn't buy bags very often and when I do it's a bag I've been lusting after for ages and a bag I'll use for years!

Madison Black Tote - Marc B(*)
Last week I welcomed this bag into my life the Madison Black Tote by Marc B! I can safely say it may just be the nicest bag I've ever owned! It's the perfect size for an everyday bag and it's so different and more stylish than picking up any old cheap large bag in a cheaper online store or on the high-street!
Photobucket
I think it's very easy to pick up any old cheap bag which certainly won't last the wear and tare. I think it's much better to invest in one good bag which is a bag you can use all the time!
Photobucket
The other thing I love about this bag is that not only it's large, it's quilted and the inside is LEOPARD PRINT! I absolutely love how this bag is so so so fashionable and practical! I am loving the quality of this bag too! I've been carrying it to university everyday and literally everywhere I need to go and this bag has not disapointed me once!
Photobucket
Photobucket
I think when you purchase a bag you need to purchase a bag which is stylish, within a certain price range whcih you kknow you'll get great use out of. This Madison Tote is now my handbag and bag for university I carry it everywhere with me. I am now a real Marc B fan as even though you feel sometimes when looking at bags i'm like 'oh dear that's out of my price range' but sometimes the extra £10 on something like a bag is really really worth the money as you'll get your ware out of it!
What do you think of this bag? Do you like Marc B?

Hoping for an Indian summer? These treats are on sale now!

Feeling optimistic for an Indian summer in the UK, or thinking of a quick break to top up that tan before winter descends? If you hurry to the high street or choose to shop online, you can still find some great pieces from last season. Better still, many stores currently have these previous collections on sale, meaning you can grab a bargain.

If you have a holiday in mind, a new bikini is a must-buy. Online stores often feature a huge selection year-round, such as the cute range of Pistol Panties beachwear at Avenue 32. The British/Colombian designer behind the brand creates bikinis and swimsuits in bright colours and vivid prints, from nautical classics to tribal designs. Browse Avenue 32 for more beach style inspiration.

Floral prints are the perfect way to make the most of any sun we may get this month and as the trend is set to continue into autumn, a floral piece is a key buy. River Island’s current sale features a number of dresses in fun florals, with some at better than half price. If England’s weather proves a little too chilly for bare legs, opt instead for flowery tapered or cropped trousers, also available in River Island’s sale.

Photobucket

Even if you are thinking of holidaying on the continent, temperatures in southern Europe will have cooled since the scorching summer months. This means a thin sweater or cardi will work equally well at home or abroad. Go for thin knits which can be worn over delicate summer dresses, though keep you warm come sundown. Gap reigns supreme when it comes to knitwear, and their website still features a range of colour-block jumpers, as well as lighter button-up cardigans.

Don’t worry if your last year’s sandals are looking a little tired, as there are still great summery options to be found. Nothing tops off a summer look better than a wedge heel. A strappy pair with an espadrille-style rope sole will look great when teamed with a maxi dress for an evening out. Aldo has a number of jewel-toned pairs, as well as plainer tan leather, for the less adventurous. If you are staying in the UK, you needn’t get out the winter boots quite yet! Dune’s current sale features ladylike court shoes with mid to high heels. Choose peep-toe pairs in pale or nude tones to complement a summer outfit.

If your tan has faded and even hints of an Indian summer are not enough to tempt you into summerwear, then sunny accessories are a must. It is easy to brighten up casual jeans or a blazer with a bold bag, so why not check out Accessorize? Browse shop sales, as well as the Outlet section of their online store for clutches, purses and handbags in tropical prints and hues.

Fingers are crossed for a sunny September in the UK and luckily, there is still time to add to your summer wardrobe before winter. Check stores for current sales and pick up stylish pieces at a snip.

Ever since Azealia's first hit single 212 I've become fascinated with her style! She's got such an edge and I love how she's not afraid to wear something different and quirky!

She's definitely pushing the boundaries with her outfit choices!

I wouldn't say I'm someone which buys dresses often. I'm normally seen in a playsuit or a pair of shorts or a maxi skirt. I recently went into River Island (I'm not really a fan) it's normally a shop I avoid when i'm out shopping! I decided to go in a few days ago and this dress immediately caught my eye! The nicest thing was I'm always a size 10 in every shop I go in and I had try on a size 8! (yay!)

I'm sure you'll have noticed that I'm actually in a different location in the photos! I have moved out to go to University!

I constantly find myself looking shoes online which is the latest shoe trend, what colours are my favourite shoes coming in next and just general drooling over shoe sites and adding more and more shoes to my wishlist! I have a bit of a shoe addiction (as you regular readers may know!) and Aldo sell the most beautiful shoes! I thought I'd show you all the latest shoes I'm loving online!
